As a committed community member, Wiersma Insurance Agency values the work of has community groups whose efforts improve the Quality Of Life of individuals in our community and around the world who might otherwise be disadvantaged.
We support following non-profit organizations:
1. Alternatives Unlimited - In its 30th year, Alternatives provides residential, employment and day services for more than 650 adults with developmental and psychiatric disabilities throughout central MA. With a clear vision for community inclusion, Alternatives also gives back in significant ways to the Blackstone Valley community.

2. Bethany Christian Services, New England - The regional branch of this national organization provides services to women and families in New England, by facilitating domestic and international adoptions. The largest adoption agency in the US, Bethany has been in operation since 1944.

3. Northbridge Mentor Partnership - Founded in 1997 by school staff; the partnership matches at-risk students with positive role models in the local community. The NMP is now operated under the supervision of the Whitin Community Center.

4. Straight Ahead Ministries - Since 1987 this Worcester faith-based volunteer organization has provided support services for youth in and transitioning-out-of juvenile detention centers.

5. Mission E4 - Providing eye-opening cross culture experiences and working with established contact in Haiti, Albania and Kosovo, this faith-based organization links cultures to bring hope to difficult situations.
